Local author Greta McLaughlin will discuss the first two books of her Celtic Trilogy from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4 at Suntree/Viera Public Library.

Both “Celtic Cries” and “Celtic Country” are set in Ireland during the early 1900s and deal with the lives of two different families. The third novel will have the families converge in the historical fiction genre.

Both novels can be read independently or out of sequence.

“Celtic Country,’’ which was just published by Amazon, will be featured in Celtic Life International magazine’s Christmas edition. The novel revolves around a young woman from County Mayo, Ireland, who runs away and marries a British soldier.

During her discussion, McLaughlin will talk about the historical settings of both books. Both books will be on sale for $10 apiece.

McLaughlin regularly conducts writing workshops at the library. For more information, call 321-255-0619.
