The Space Race is a 3K (1.86 mile) course throughout Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex and registration is now open! Run or walk throughout the course, and enjoy a view of the historic Rocket Garden, the full-sized booster stack at the entrance of Space Shuttle Atlantis® and the Mercury 7 mural on Heroes & Legends featuring the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame®. Space costumes are welcomed, but you must leave your face uncovered.

Timing and scoring is chip-determined by the Running Zone. The top men and women will be scored by age groups. Want to meet a real astronaut? Winners in each category will receive their award from a veteran NASA astronaut. After the completion of the race, celebrate your accomplishment at the after party in the Rocket Garden.
