Those who would like to brush up on their dancing skills can do so from 6 to 7 p.m. when Laura Beers offers lessons (www.adancersvoice.com) or 751-4766.  The fee for lessons is $5, payable to the instructor.

Swingtime's dances have long been a favorite of local dancers and jazz lovers looking for a reasonable priced, toe-tapping evening. This 22-piece band is directed by Art Martin, a tenor and baritone saxophonist. Art has performed with the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, Dizzy Gillespie, and The Platters to name just a few.
