Charlotte (Char Good) Goodman is a violinist and vocalist who plays from the soul. The title of this concert, “Influences,” references the jazz influences that have shaped this 23 year old musician. She will be joined by Connor Mahoney on the keys, D.K. Issit on guitar, Dexter Wilborn on the saxophone and Brock Wollard on drums.

After a 2 year interim in the Eastern Florida College’s Music and Vocal Performance Program, Char decided to pursue a Bachelor’s of Applied Science in Marketing and will graduate in August, 2019. 

She enjoys improvising and collaborating with musicians of every genre. After discovering the recordings of Ella Fitzgerald and Coleman Hawkins at a young age, Char fell in love with jazz music.

Pianist Connor Mahoney considers himself fortunate to have learned to play from top performers including Kenny Clarke, Ron Texiera, and Capt. Winston Scott while growing up on the Space Coast. When not behind the piano, Connor enjoys composing original music for film and small groups and often shares projects on his website,, and Facebook @CMahoneyMusic.

D.K. Issitt is a musician from Melbourne Beach who has enjoyed playing in a number of local original music groups, currently playing guitar and occasional bass and drums in The Impressionist Party of America. He also plays double bass in the Panama City Pops Orchestra and with Brevard area jazz musicians. 

Saxophonist Dexter Wilborn is a longtime area musician and is also a doctoral student in counseling psychology at the University of Florida. Dexter has performed with many local and diverse groups in the Melbourne circuit and currently plays saxophone for the UF Gospel Choir.

Brock Wollard is a percussionist from Malabar, Florida and is a graduate of the University of North Florida Jazz studies program. He is active in the local music scene with his group, The Harbor City Trio, and teaches music lessons at the Groove Shack, his studio in Indian Harbour.  

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC – general admission tickets can be purchased online below or paid at the door: 
– $10 for members of the Jazz Society and Rockledge Country Club, 
– $15 for guests,
– Students are free.
