President Judy Oyer welcomed guests to a celebration of the season at the Neighbors of Suntree (NOS) Annual Holiday Luncheon on Dec. 4. The luncheon was attended by 147 guests.

This festive event featured a gift basket raffle with 26 baskets assembled and donated by members of NOS and local businesses.  A 50/50 raffle raised $379.

The organization also collected nonperishable foods that were donated to the South Brevard Sharing Center.

The event was organized by Fran Adrion and Barbara Windland of Suntree.

Ticket sales opened for the organization’s annual fashion show, Fashionistas for Charity.  This fundraising luncheon will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 29 in Colony Hall at the Indian River Colony Club in Viera. Sheriff Wayne Ivey will model during the show. Guests will have an opportunity to shop. Several local vendors will make their wares available for purchase. Tickets are $28 per person. For more information, contact NOS Special Events director Fran Adrion at 321-254-0498 or co-chair Barbara Windland at 321-794-1855.

A reservation form is available for download on the Event page of the NOS website: neighborsofsuntree.org.

Tickets are also available for the NOS theme party at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28 at the Holiday Inn Melbourne-Viera Conference Center.  The theme this year is a Luau. Guests will feast on a tropical Polynesian buffet. Polynesian dance group “Na Lima ‘Olu Ma Ke Kai” of Cocoa Beach will entertain guests with an authentic Polynesian show.

Guests may also bid on gifts donated by local businesses. Tickets are $35 per person. For more information contact Diane Bale at 321-752-7421 or visit the NOS website.
