Talent competition seeks young musicians


The Creative Arts Foundation of Brevard, Inc., a nonprofit organization advocating for young students of music, announced another major music competition.

It is the 11th annual Brevard’s Got Music Talent.

The first prize winner will take home $1,500 from the competition that boasts cash prizes exceeding $3,000.

Applications for auditions are now open. Auditions will be held in January. The top 10 finalists will compete  March 22 before the judges and March 29 before an audience. The location will be announced soon and the audition dates and times will be sent to each applicant. Interested musicians and singers can apply by going to CAFOB.org — then click on “Brevard’s Got Music Talent.” Print out the application form and send with a check for $15 for the audition fee via regular mail.
