New playground to open at Suseda Park
New playground equipment has been built at Suseda Park, located at 5805 Murrell Road in Viera East. Suseda Park, also known as the Blue Park because of its blue-hued playground equipment, is a small family park that has play areas, a small lake and a walking trail that features playgrounds, picnic areas, restrooms, bridges and hiking trails.
One of Viera’s most beautiful parks has a new playground.
Thomas Dillon, the president and owner of Fairway Management of Brevard, the company that oversees the Viera East Community Association, said it was time to replace the old playground with new equipment.
“We wanted to upgrade the playground equipment to make it safer,” he said.

Dillon said the project began in mid-March but took time to complete because of the coronavirus pandemic.
“The virus slowed things down,” he said.
