Church’s satellite campus outgrows theater, moves to high school
East Coast Christian Center (ECCC) Viera will relocate to Viera High School from their current location in the Carmike movie theater on March 2. ECCC Viera is a satellite campus for East Coast Christian Center, an expanding church in Merritt Island.
The satellite campus, which the church added in 2012, has outgrown the theater. The high school will have twice as much room, will be a better facility for children’s programs, and will allow the church to host major events.
“This move to Viera High is a chance for more people to experience a fresh perspective on life and faith,” said Rev. Matt Stallbaum.
They will maintain their current service time of 10 a.m. every Sunday.
East Coast Christian Center was established more than 25 years ago. According to a representative from the church, they reach more than 2,500 people every week, and they do community outreach throughout the year. They also run the Morning Breath radio program every weekday from 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. on WMIE 91.5.
Viera High School is located at 6103 Stadium Pkwy. in Viera. For more information about the church, go to eccc.us or call 321-452-1060. VV
