East Coast Christian Center is excited to host its third annual East Coast Christian Center Easter Egg Hunt. It will be Brevard County’s largest egg hunt, with more than 20,000 eggs.
The free event will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 24 at Viera High School’s football field. The egg hunt is for children between the ages of 2 and 12.
Viera Pizza will provide free pizza throughout the event.
A three-day cruise for two will be given away to a lucky registrant.
An addition to this year’s egg hunt will be a new area for families with special-needs children.
Acceptance is hard to find in this world. East Coast Christian Center is a life-giving church that has room for people to find the community that will accept and empower them to make a difference in this world.
East Coast Christian Center offers two services — 9:15 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. — each Sunday at Viera High School. Since launching two services in October, East Coast Christian Center has experienced significant growth.
The church eventually hopes to construct its own building in the future.
Matt Stallbaum, the East Coast Christian Center pastor, hopes to build a following and urges people to attend his services.
““We have access to the gym, media center and several classrooms,” Stallbaum said. “Cleanliness, safety and fun are at the core of what we do.”
The children’s area is a big priority.
“Our youth programs are a place where teens make friends,’’ Stallbaum said. “They also have an opportunity to join an internship program to build life experiences and leadership training for college and beyond.”
A special Easter Service will be offered Sunday, April 1.
