Decades in Revue Lip Sync Battle set for Oct. 20

The Brevard Family Partnership (BFP) will conduct the fourth annual Decades in Revue Lip Sync Battle from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20 at the Melbourne Hilton Rialto Place.

Participants will perform and lip synch their favorite songs from the “Slammin’ 70s.’’

Brevard Family Partnership is Brevard County’s lead child welfare agency. Proceeds from the event will help Brevard’s most vulnerable children.

Performers will gather community votes prior to their performance in the form of donations. Each $1 raised will be equal to one vote for the performer of the donor’s choice.

At the end of the event, the performers will be judged by an expert panel and given scores based 50 percent on their performance and 50 percent on money raised.

Some of the 2018 performers include Catherine Wright of Harris, Valerie Holmes of Brevard Family Partnership, Barb Loftus of Tech-Mark Services,  Laura-Anna DeGennaro of Brevard Family Partnership. Other contestants include members representing Roy Allen Elementary School, the Junior League of South Brevard, FLA Properties, A Better Therapy and Crosswinds Youth Services.

Tickets are $125 each and include dinner, entertainment and much more. Tables for eight are available for purchase at a discounted rate. Seats are limited.
