If you want a second date, let the first date be the 15th annual Great Tastes at Suntree which will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 20 at the Suntree Country Club.
More than 30 different restaurants will serve samples of their best food, desserts or drinks at the charitable event.
“The food is wonderful and it’s a spectacular price at $30 a ticket,’’ said Suntree Rotary Club President Alan Frisher. “There will be more food there than you could ever eat. It’s a great date night.’’
Some of the local restaurants and businesses already signed up to please everyone’s palate include Niki’s, Pacific Rim, Grimaldi, Bennigan’s, Melting Pot, Red Ginger, Shells, Bold Cup Coffee, Buffalo Wild Wings, Chez Quan’s, Perkins, Double D’s BBQ, El Leoncito, Fiesta Azteca, The Fresh Market, Telly’s, Gator’s Dockside, Genna Pizza, Grills Riverside and Lucky’s Market.
“That’s just a few,’’ Frisher said. “More will be coming. If anyone is someone in Suntree, they will attend this event. This is a premier event for the Suntree and Viera community. We’ll have live calypso music, and all the money raised will go to different charities.’’
The Suntree Rotary Club is donating medical supplies and equipment to two hospitals in Honduras through a partnership with Project Cure. Rotary International will match funds raised by the Suntree Rotary Club “four or five times more,’’ according to Frisher.
Great Tastes at Suntree also will help the Boys and Girls Club in Brevard County and the Children’s Hunger Project.
