It’s time once again for the annual Great Tastes at Suntree event from the Rotary Club of Suntree, and the club is gearing up for a year that’s going to be “bigger than ever.”

On Oct. 19, the Rotary Club of Suntree will host its 16th annual Great Tastes at Suntree event to be held at the Rotary clubhouse.

This year, the Great Tastes at Suntree will feature food from a variety of different local eateries — approximately 30 so far.

There will be a live band to entertain guests, and each of the vendors will compete to win a contest for best-decorated booth and best food, so be sure to try each of the tables.

The 16th annual Great Tastes at Suntree event is not only a great time out, it’s also for a good cause.

“The event supports several worthwhile local charities,” officials said in a news release, “including the Boys and Girls Club of Brevard, the Children’s Hunger Project and a new global grant project sponsored by the Rotary Club of Suntree Foundation that will provide approximately $400,000 in medical equipment to two hospitals in Honduras.”

Tickets for the event are $40 in advance and $50 for the day of the event. Tickets can be purchased online at a link featured on the club’s website —  suntreerotary.org/2019/05/30/16th-annual-great-tastes-at-suntree.

The 16th annual Great Tastes at Suntree event will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Suntree Country Club.
