Senior Life will continue celebrating its 20th anniversary at one of Brevard County’s secrets during the Roaring 1920s-theme seventh annual Boomer Bash & Senior Expo and Veterans Salute from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9.
The expo will be held at Valiant Air Command Warbird Museum at TICO Airport in Titusville. Bob Boswell, the executive director on the board directors of the museum, is excited for those visiting the museum for the first time.
“We have 47 restored aircrafts on display of all brands of American service and military aviation,’’ said Boswell, who had an aviation career spanning 45 years. “We have planes from France, Germany and Russia. For anyone with an interest in aviation history, this is a must see.’’
There is no cost to attend the expo. Normally, it costs $20 for adults and $18 for seniors. The museum is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is only closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.
“I love sharing stories about the history of the aircrafts with others,’’ Boswell said. “Our strong Air Force has helped protect our troops on the ground. Ever since World War I, it has helped us win the majority of our battles. Through our museum, we would like to encourage more men and women to consider a career in aviation.’’.
