Doug Flutie golf tournament

The inaugural Doug Flutie Orlando Golf Tournament at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club Orlando, Grande Lakes is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 28. Proceeds benefit the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism and the Scott Center for Autism Treatment at Florida Institute of Technology.
Entry is $1,000 per foursome or $300 per person and includes lunch, prize competition and an awards dinner. Registration starts at 9 a.m. and the shotgun start is at 10 a.m. at the Greg Norman-designed course in Orlando.
Doug Flutie Jr., the 23-year-old son of Doug and Laurie Flutie, was diagnosed with autism at age 3.
