Duran Golf Club makes change at Tradewinds Restaurant

Duran Golf Club has named Sandi Vanneste the new food and beverage manager for its Tradewinds Restaurant. She will supervise the restaurant.

“We have an amazing team here at Duran,’’ Vanneste said. “Everyone is so sweet and professional. It’s not just lunch at the Tradewinds. We do so many different events. Besides tournaments, we’ll have weddings and baby showers. We help to make good times in other people’s lives.’’

Vanneste has worked at several private golf clubs in Vero Beach. She was the restaurant manager at Quail Valley River and Golf Club, and she was the director of Food and Beverage at Hawk’s Nest Golf Club.

Vanneste also was the food and beverage director at the Eau Gallie Yacht Club, and the executive chef at the Boulevard Tennis Club in Vero Beach.

A native of rural, southern Indiana, Vanneste went to high school in Punta Gorda and attended Indian River State College. Vanneste and her husband, Michael, live in Palm Bay. She has two daughters, a step daughter and two sons.
