Sheriff's agents seek community's help in identifying recovered stolen property
On April 19, 2014, the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residential burglary in the Melbourne / Suntree area. The investigation led to the arrest of 20-year-old James Joshua England and 20-year-old Vincent Matthew Tumminia, both of Suntree. England and Tumminia were charged with dealing in stolen property, occupied residential burglary and grand theft. Both were transported to the Brevard County Jail, where England is detained on a no bond status and Tumminia has since been released on bond.
The investigation led to the search of their homes, where a large amount of property related to residential and vehicle burglaries was seized. It is believed that the property relates to burglaries that occurred in the Melbourne / Suntree area between January 2013 and April 2014. The recovered property includes global positioning devices, televisions, bicycles, power tools, laptop computers, watches, gaming systems, games and sunglasses.
While most of the recovered property has been matched to specific burglary victims, agents need assistance in identifying the owners of the remaining property.
If you have any information concerning England and Tumminia or have been a victim of burglary in the Melbourne / Suntree area, please call the Sheriff’s Office West Precinct General Crimes Unit at 321-617-7306. Agents will make arrangements to review unidentified property.
