Area burger enthusiasts in the Viera-Suntree area will have a new restaurant to patronize as a Burgerim restaurant will soon open at 2338 Citadel Way, just off of Lake Andrew Drive, near the intersection with Judge Fran Jamieson Way in Viera.
Burgerim, per the company’s website, describes itself as “an international fast casual franchise with a shiny new concept,” with that concept being the availability of gourmet burgers, featuring 3-ounce patties that the company says are available in solo form as well as in bundles of two, three or even 16.
The patties are even available in far more forms than just a traditional beef patty as well, according to Janae Gilliam, chief business development officer with Burgerim.
“You can get a chicken, a turkey, a falafel, we have vegan options, we have our vegetarian patties,” Gilliam said. “They’re all customizable. We also have wings, bone in and bone out. We also have shakes. We also do dine-in, delivery, carryout, catering and we have beer and wine.”
The restaurant is slated to open in roughly three months, according to Gilliam.
Gilliam added that the area was a great fit for an eatery.
“We like to go into areas that are going to represent the brands,” Gilliam added. “We want to make sure that we’re putting this into areas that fit the demographics for us. Demographics for us are, we feed everybody. It’s one of the things that makes Burgerim able to go everywhere.”
Burgerim is rapidly expanding its business, with 350 restaurants under construction that will be added to roughly 170 eateries that already are open, Gilliam noted.
“In those areas, we have people who want to eat better,” Gilliam said. “We basically came in and we took two of the most popular food items in the world, which are pizza and burgers and we took one of them and we put a spin on it. We can feed anybody. We can feed vegetarians, we can feed vegans, we can feed high-protein, low-carbs. We kinda put the spin on traditional burgers. … It’s basically our customization level that helps us stand out. We’re here to be inclusive for everybody.”
