Join the IRCC Busty Bunch and Rockledge Fire Department as they team up in the sale of shirts to promote Breast Cancer Awareness month of October and take part in the 2016 Making Strides for Breast Cancer Walk Saturday, Oct. 22 at Space Coast Stadium.

Maureen Reeder and her son, David Iamunno of the Rockledge Fire Department, launched the T-shirt drive Sept. 29 to add to the IRCC Busty Bunch donation tally for the Making Strides for Breast Cancer Awareness Walk Oct. 22.

Indian River Colony Club’s “Team Busty Bunch” is undertaking a new initiative to help increase its fund-raising outcome for the walk with the sale of both Rockledge Fire Dept T-shirts and Busty Bunch T-shirts.

The IRCC Busty Bunch has been participating with Making Strides walk for six years, with all proceeds donated to the American Cancer Society.

“Last year, the Rockledge Fire Department participated in by donating funds on IRCC Busty Bunch’s behalf and this year they have gone the distance to ensure our success by designing and printing T-Shirts that will be sold for $15,” said Maureen Reeder, team leader for the IRCC Busty Bunch and IRCC office manager and residents liaison.

The Busty Bunch, along with IRCC Golfers, “Rally for the Cure,” also participate in a bake sale held at the IRCC club, with all proceeds going to the Making Strides for Breast Cancer team.

To make a donation to the team, go to makingstrides.acsevents.org and find the team, “Busty Bunch.”

To order a Rockledge FD shirt, call Matthew Clark, Local 3138 Union president, at 321-690-3968.
