This Halloween season, a thrilling new attraction is opening in Brevard County. Located at Treetop Trek, the half-mile Trail of Terror will send scare-seekers on a nocturnal journey through a pitch-black forest where horrifying surprises lurk behind each tree.

“We’re pulling out all the stops for Trail of Terror,” said Andrea Hill, marketing and communications director. “It’s going to be unlike anything this county has ever seen. Our goal is to scare your pants off.”

Hill added that her team has been working with seasoned industry professionals to bring the Trail to life. More than 50 actors are slated to participate each evening. State-of-the-art makeup, special effects and elaborate sets elevate the experience with hauntingly vivid detail. A party featuring live music, alcoholic beverages and made-to-order food awaits guests at the end of the Trail.

Trail of Terror is presented by Toyota of Melbourne and is recommended for ages 16 and up. The Trail runs from 8:30 p.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday nights from Oct. 9 to Oct. 31. Tickets are $14.95 for the first weekend and $19.95 for the final three weekends. More information can be found at runforyourfreakinlife.com.
