The calling card of the Holy Trinity football team was on full display in Friday night’s season opener against Trinity Prep.

Holy Trinity’s offensive skill players ran all over the Saints’ defense as the Tigers rolled to a 53-35 road victory.

Kevin Chandler ran for 204 yards on 14 carries and scored two touchdowns. He also caught four passes for 101 yards and two scores.

Larry Hill, meanwhile, ran 21 times for 178 yards and three scores.

Quarterback Ja’Lon Hudgens completed 7 of 11 passes for 151 yards and three touchdowns, including a 17-yard scoring throw to wide receiver Demetrius “Meech” Robinson.

The Tigers will face Seffner Christian at the Larry Sanders Sports Complex in Tampa on Friday.
