Duran Golf Club to host 2nd annual Pink Ribbon Classic


It’s a chance to play some golf, have some fun and support a great cause.

The Brevard/Space Coast chapter of the Executive Women’s Golf Association is partnering with Duran Golf Club to host the second annual Pink Ribbon Classic on Jan. 31 with an 8 a.m. shotgun start.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the American Cancer Society.

Golfers are encouraged to wear pink to show their support for cancer survivors. The four-person scramble tournament, includes 18 holes of golf, cart, range balls, tee gift and breakfast sponsored by Ray Rodriguez/McDonalds.

There will also be an Italian buffet lunch following play, a drink ticket, on-course wine tasting, beer samples, a Bloody Mary bar and Moe’s cupcakes. Nissan of Melbourne is sponsoring a hole-in-one contest

Adding a little more spice, there will be prizes, raffles and a 50/50 drawing available.

Cost is $80 per player, $65 for EWGA members and $40 for Duran members. For $125, you can become a Tee Sign Sponsor.

The event is women-friendly, but men are welcome to play.
