Hawks lacrosse aim to repeat as district champions

The defending district champions are ready to make a run at another title.

The Viera High boys lacrosse team faces tough competition, but new coach Brian Gabak should have the Hawks in the thick of the race.

Viera is led by its attackmen, seniors Connor Neff (captain) and Ty Wallace (captain) along with juniors Lane Miller and Rob Rider, who moved here from Long Island. Junior Ryan Morgan is strong in goal. The defense is led by senior Austin Crawford (captain), sophomore Jaxon Lenk and senior Cameron Smithwick.

The face-off midfielders include senior Jonathan Cassario, Tyler Holland and Casey Michel (captain).
