Holy Trinity’s Wallington selected for FACA All-Star basketball game

Holy Trinity's Keoni Wallington finished his career as the second leading scorer in program history.

Holy Trinity senior Keoni Wallington will take part in the 2015 All-Star Girls/Boys Basketball Classic on Saturday at Indian River State College in Ft. Pierce.

Wallington finished his career with 1,509 points, good enough for second place on the school’s all-time scoring list. He also is only the fourth player in program history to reach 1,000 career points.

He is committed to play at Eastern Florida State College next season. The Titans will begin play in the NJCAA Division I Men’s National Championship tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas on Monday.

The All-Star games, which are sponsored by the Florida Athletic Coaches Association and TOTALLOOK by ShieldSkin are set to begin at 11 a.m. with the girls game between the north and the south. The boys game will follow.

Joining Wallington on the North roster is Satellite High’s Cole Hunter. Representing Brevard County in the girls game will be Cocoa’s Dysheka Price and Tajanee Chapple of Rockledge.
