Viera seniors, coaches to take part in 2015 All-Star Girls Soccer Classic

Fresh off winning the first state girls soccer championship in school history, Viera High will be well represented at the 2015 All-Star Girls Soccer Classic which takes place Friday and Saturday at Booster Stadium in Ocala.

Seniors Nicki Fisher and Hope Leonard will play for the East team, which will be coached by Viera’s Courtney and Brian Lundy.

The East team will play the West on Friday at 6 p.m., followed by the North-South game. The consolation game will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday with the title game set for noon.

The games are sponsored by the Florida Athletic Coaches Association and Lotto Team Sport.

Other Brevard County players on the East squad include Olivia Bergau and Mikaela Hakamaa from Merritt Island; Keira McCarthy from Melbourne and Stephanie Arrington from Cocoa Beach.
