Good Feet

A new store coming to The Avenue Viera this fall offers relief for aching feet.

The Good Feet Store, a manufacturer and retailer of premium, personally fitted arch support inserts, is opening its first Brevard County franchise at 6729 Colonnade Ave., Suite 107.

“I think it will be a great complement to the neighboring stores like SAS Shoes,” said Kevin Cedik, the general manager at The Avenue Viera.

Based in Carlsbad, California, The Good Feet Store provides arch supports designed to help alleviate foot, knee, hip and back pain. Available in a wide range of flexibilities — extra firm to soft — the arch supports are customized for various activities, shoe preferences and work environments.

A specialist at each franchise measures a customer’s feet and takes the person’s lifestyle and arch size into account during a free fitting and test walk. No appointment is necessary. Once properly fitted, a customer can wear the new arch supports home.

A 2021 company survey found about 98 percent of adults experience foot, knee, hip or back pain that interferes with their day-to-day life and activities and nearly 50 percent of individuals who experience that pain have learned to live with it.

The Good Feet Store locations also carry shoes, cushions and other foot-care accessories.

The 1,600-square-foot store at the site of the former GNC is one of four new tenants that have opened or are set to open this fall at The Avenue Viera, Cedik said. Dessert eatery Crumbl Cookies opened June 3. Soma is a women’s intimates and sleepwear brand. And Nothing Bundt Cakes is a specialty bundt cake bakery.

The Good Feet Store recently opened its 200th location in Nashua, New Hampshire. It plans to add more stores in the next five years. Currently, the closest Central Florida location is in Waterford Towers in Orlando.

“Coming out of the pandemic, The Good Feet Store is on track to deliver one of our biggest years ever in terms of growth, sales and expansion, and our business is well-positioned for the future,” Richard Moore, CEO of The Good Feet Store, said in a press release.
