Space Coast United to host Florida Cup this weekend

The Space Coast United Soccer Club will be hosting the 2021 Florida Cup this weekend at Viera Regional Park. Semifinal games are scheduled to start at 8 a.m. on Saturday with the finals slated to be played on Sunday.

Some of the best youth soccer teams in the state will be spending this weekend at Viera Regional Park.

Space Coast United will be hosting the Florida Cup for the second time in three years, beginning Saturday with semifinal action. The finals are set for Sunday.

The tournament will draw teams from all over Florida with boys and girls players ranging from U12 to U18/19. The single-elimination event began in February with preliminary-round games lasting through April.

Space Coast United is scheduled to have 10 teams taking part in Saturday’s semifinals, beginning at 8 a.m. with the U14 boys.

The Space Coast United U15 boys, U14 girls and U15 girls are set to play at 10 a.m., followed by the U12 boys, 16U boys and U16 girls at noon.

And in the day’s final slate of games, it will be the U17 girls and the U18/19 girls set to kick off at 2 p.m.
