Viera baseball’s seventh annual Costume Game set for Thursday

The Viera High baseball team is partnering with the Viera High Cheerleaders and the Space Coast Basket Brigade to help support local families during the Thanksgiving Day season by hosting the seventh annual Costume Game Thursday night from 5-8 at Space Coast Stadium.

The event, which is scheduled to take place from 5-8 p.m., will see the Hawks partner up with Viera High cheerleaders and the Space Coast Basket Brigade to help support local families this Thanksgiving season.

Admission is two donatable items. The list includes cans of corn, green beans or yams; mashed potatoes; stuffing; bags of marshmallows; jars of gravy and round white laundry baskets.

There will be games and contests including bobbing for apples; potato sack race; limbo-dizzy bat race; hula hoop; wheel barrel race and water balloon toss.

Awards will also be given for the best baseball costume and the best fan costume.
